I suppose it depends what you want to do. I need to send and receive pop3
and imap so I use csmail.
I do agree with the outlook remarks though unless it is asked for. I did get
asked and included it in the setup.

OK, I meant to say, I wouldn't bother with any Outlook solution.  
There is another open-source tool that folks here-abouts have  
discussed, but I couldn't find it with just a cursory archive search.
