1. The new eBay scam is that after you win a bid, a scammer,. not the real seller, will send you an email saying that his PayPal account is frozen, and could you please send him a payment via Western Union instead.
2. The new PayPal scam is that after the buyer gets the item delivered, he fills out a dispute claim with PayPal saying that the item isn't what he ordered or isn't in working order. The buyer then ships back a different item to the seller, keeps the good item and has his money refunded. PayPal Seller Protection does not protect against "not what I expected" charge backs, only "I didn't receive it" chargebacks. PayPal is geared to protect THE BUYER and not THE SELLER. ************************************************* Join the OBAMA RESISTANCE MOVEMENT! http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike/6181419 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
