Nick, We use namecheap.com based on recommendations from others on this list. We're very pleased with the pricing, quality of service, and tech support. US based domains are about $10 each and include a free year of domain contact privacy protection and a free one year SSL certificate. Namecheap also offers free DNS services (regardless of where you purchased your domains).
We moved to namecheap from godaddy because of godaddy's circus-like clutter. The namecheap user interface is clean and simple to use without the constant up-selling. Namecheap.com - highly recommended.
