I have done Office Automation stuff in the past - at a previous job - although too bad I don't have any of that code. And, at that job I had a book to read that outlined the process.
But, I have also seen people on the list here mentioning problems with recent changes to Office SW - that has caused some problems, and I think that those problems (if I remember right) - may cause a kink in the Automation process.
