Some open sourced languages have ambiguous licensing that might prevent

I would say "short fuse" type of people.  Most of the issues appear 
small to me and are a problem in upgrading from a (very) old version to 
the latest version may involve some refactoring.  Perhaps we're (VFP 
crowd) is such a group of old farts and VFP is such a stable product 
that we know a lot of what to avoid and where the pain points are.  
Overall the RB team and RB developers are a very friendly, sharing, 
generous crowd.
