Israel is taking over land by occupying it, and then hold on
to the land by armed force, much like early USA settlers and
pioneers took over open range land owned by Native
Americans. The land taken away from what was left of Native
Americans after the end of the Indian wars, was replace by
land reserved specifically for the Native Americans, (eg
Reservations), upon which the Indians were settled and confined.

What happened to the American Indian doesn't seem fair or
legal, but in a way it was progress, and the Native
American, at least what was left of them after the Indian
wars, were able to maintain their ways, language, laws,
traditions and customs in land specifically reserved deeded
to them; their own country apart from the USA.

As long as Israel isn't taking my land away form me, I'm not
terrible upset. The founding of Israel as a state back in
1948 by a vote of the United Nations, and the subsequent
expansion of Israel into her neighboring countries is a very
complex and emotionally charged issue to which no solution
seems to be forthcoming. I hope the people under threat of
losing their land or country to Israel have a better outcome
than what was done to the Native American.

Regards,
