I've got an adhoc request from an old client to take a ton of telemagic data (in vfp) and slam it into MicroSoft CRM 4.0 .
I'm thinking to import it into the Leads System - but - I can't really figure out the mapping of : what's displayed visually at the UI (some outlook thingie, acts like a web page) vs what's stored in the SQL DB. Did MS put out any field mappings anywhere on this? Torqing the data from TeleMagic is easy, making the CSV output files for an import is easy, heck - even putting together a data mapping template for the IMPORT is easy - but - I'm stumped on the mappings... (Visual UI vs BackEnd SQL DB columns ) If you've got a clue to share or an url - I'd appreciate it, much !!! I've done about 11 'swags' on it, I'm still not happy with the outcome.
