I read it, that was enough. If he believed a word of it, he wouldn't be trying to hoist third world tyranny on the next two generations of Americans with his statist program of centralized control.
He talks about taking personal responsibility, but his policies are inimical to that very idea. He wouldn't be hiring avowed Communists like Van Jones or Mark Lloyd, or lunatics like Cass Susstein and several other whack jobs as "czars" outside Congressional scrutiny. I thought the "God bless America" was a nice touch at the end. You know, in case we might still be hearing his pastor 20 years ranting "God damn America" in the back of our minds after watching the spectacle of his recent appointments. - Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Stephen Russell > Sent: Tuesday, September 08, 2009 11:53 AM > To: ProFox Email List > Subject: [OT] Are you going to watch the speech in 10 min? > > <http://mashable.com/2009/09/08/presidents-speech-to-school-children/> > > I saw the Q&A with students this morning.
