http://bit.ly/1ajMXY - - - Despite a large advance, Obama found himself "hopelessly blocked." After four futile years of trying to finish, Obama "sought advice from his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers." This he did "at Michelle's urging," she being the more pragmatic half of the couple.
What attracted the Obamas were "Ayers's proven abilities as a writer." Barack particularly liked the fluid novelistic style of To Teach, a 1993 book by Ayers. This he hoped to emulate for his own family history. In fact, he had already taped interviews with many of his relatives, both African and American. The key sentence in Andersen's account is the one that follows: "These oral histories, along with his partial manuscript and a trunkload of notes were given to Ayers." Adds Andersen, "Thanks to help from veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Book." The manuscript in question would become Obama's 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father, what Joe Klein of Time Magazine called "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician." - - - The significance of this is huge and cannot be overstated. Andersen was not intending to validate Cashill's thesis but independently confirmed that Ayers had a huge role in the production of "Dreams from My Father". So, chalk one up for us "conspiracy theorists." What is significant is the fact that the boldfaced lies Obama told during the campaign about his relationship to Ayers that can now be confirmed as such, albeit too late. Even more significant is the lie he told about being the sole author of his books---without which the myth of his genius and literary skill would never have been woven into the fabric of the campaign. The first whopper is that Ayers was just an English professor in his neighborhood whom he hardly knew. Forget the two boards he served on -- which alone were sufficient refutation of the claim, but technically no proof of intimacy. Your ghost writer doesn't produce that kind of quality without a deep knowledge of who you are (e.g., Palin's ghost writer), and in fact the parallels between Ayers' own biographical stories in his own books are so close to those in Dreams about Obama, you almost come away with the impression that the two of them are doppelgangers. So, from "hardly knew him" to "trusted him to write his memoir" and "I wrote the book myself" to "he had a lot of help from Ayers or he would have failed" is a gap that cannot be explained as anything but 100% pure deception. That he had a ghost writer after taking all the credit and literary accolades is bad enough; but then there is the matter of who (and what) Ayers is. Not surprisingly then we see birds of that particular feather flocking together in the Oval Office around Obama ... Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Mark Lloyd, John Holdren, etc. The matter is deeper than simply hiring a ghost writer and feigning literary ability you don't actually possess. It gets down to who and what Obama really is. I'll say it again: Obama is not who he says he is, and believes deep down things that contradict his public persona as some kind of post-partisan, post-racial "healer". Indeed, he is a complete fraud. He's a totalitarian thug who needs to be removed from office or politically neutered at the earliest opportunity. He is a clear and present danger to the republic, and is indeed moving at break-neck speed to dismantle it from the inside out. How ironic that mere days after announcing that we don't need the European missile shield because Iran doesn't have missiles that can reach that far, Iran successfully test fires missiles that can reach that far. Prediction: This won't sway Obama's decision one iota. He went out of his way to pick the anniversary of the Soviet Union's invasion of Poland to announce withdrawal of the missile shield from Poland... you think that was a coincidence too?? - Bob _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
