Let's see if I can explain such a subtle concept.... if you tell a
French man that all French are cowards and collaborated with the Nazis,
he's not going to laugh.

He may laugh if you in the same line make a similar (in viciousness)
comment about your own country, and only if he's got a HUGE sense of humour.

Is it too complicated? Should I try to simplify the concept for you to
grasp it?
