You can take a look at Sun's Virtualbox. Virtualbox is a virtual machine, (eg VM) that can be hosted in Linux. I use Virtualbox to run windows XP Pro as a guest OS, hosted in Fedora 11.
To create a windows Virtual Machine using Virtualbox hosted in Linux, you will need a licensed version of the windows OS, which would probably be found on the originally windows CD/DVD. You can use the CD/DVD to create the windows VM in Virtualbox, which will install similarly as it would on a dedicated computer. Once you have windows VM installed on the chosen Linux computers, you can network the windows OS as you normally would. Oracle recently acquired Sun, so technically Virtualbox is owned by Oracle, I assume. http://www.virtualbox.org/ Regards, LelandJ On 10/06/2009 10:57 AM, Dave Crozier wrote: > Raphael, > It was Paul McNett who did the pioneering work on VFP.
