In my defense, I'd love to take on somebody with a bit more firepower, but even the vaunted Ed would need to sacrifice a battalion or three of Huffington Post bloggers in order to distract me long enough to construct one of his flimsy syllogisms. It's just slim pickin's out there. To Ricardo's immense credit, unlike certain prissy newsgroup maintainers who shall remain nameless, he never shies from a direct debate (though actually he's gone AWOL on our most recent attempt at a "civil discussion"), and is in fact quite capable of defending himself. True, you have to endure profanity and his occasional relapse into juvenile name-calling. But, he's far more literate than he lets on, and actually enjoys twisting the knife, metaphorically speaking, as much as I do. O wretched man that I am!
