Very pleased to say that we are the home of the Lebanon Valley District Spelling Bee Champion. My daughter Maddie (5th grade) beat out 4th grade, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th to win with "Philanthropy".
There was a tense moment with "physique", but she got past that. Needless to say, ice cream at Stewart's all around. She can go to the regionals in Schenectady in March, and represent her district, if she wants to.
