laugh all you like bob, but keep in mind which country has the BEST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD. Yep - australia. Booming economy, unemployment retreating from its HIGH of 5%, inflation under control. Interest rates low but not in the toilet. Even the drought is disappearing! And our crime rate is about a millionth of yours and even the weather is better. So apparently Obama doesnt care about australia. You have no idea how few people here actually care about that. When we drive to our golden beaches on the days off from our near full employment we dont really envy much about the 'land of the free' that incarcerates at the rate of a full 10 times ours. We dont care a great deal about a country whose military is second to none but whose health care system is second to almost everyone. We watch in abject amazement at the unrestrained greed and corruption; the massive crime rate and the economy teetering on the edge of an abyss. Frankly if you want to know how to run a truly egalitarian society, funded by a sustainable world-class economy then perhaps you should come on over here and learn how it's done.
