You will like Australia. Yes the cops have guns but even most criminals
don't have them and ever rarer for them to be used. A shoot-out is big news.
And the BBQ Beer and long weekend mentality is most appealing!

referring to the fact that your military and police probably have guns 
that will allow them to round you up should you stray off of their 
predetermined "freedom" ranch??

curious because if I can't ever get back to work here, I might sure 
think about visiting for a very long time because any country that has 
beer and bbq can't be all bad <grin>
