I went and updated my 3gs to os4 on Tues. Walking to the car on Wed I was listening to a podcast on the phone. I get in the car and hook up to the USB. Civic 2009 iPhone-Pod will hook into stereo via usb.
Well I was surprised when the display said unknow device. I saw this: UPDATE!! After playing about with the phone and system, I have found a fix that seems to work with me. 1) I restarted my iphone 2) Plugged into stereo 3) Reset the iphone (power and home button together) Remember - keep the phone plugged into the stereo with power on! It seems to be working as normal. I have never heard of this and was wondering if this was correct or was that the auto reset of all content on the device?
