Help you guys, Anyone out there got any experience with SQL Server Mirroring for 2008 or 2005 SQL Server. I won't go into great detail but I just can't get the two servers on the same domain to mirror. The error SQL Server Error 1418 seems to be very well documented but nobody has a fix on exactly how to solve it.
All I need is a simple guide to setting up two mirrored servers without a watch node and without auto failover. If I know how damned difficult this was I would never have attempted it. 3 days effort and untold amounts of Googling so far an no results. The M$ wizards just don't work and even worse give errors that aren't even related to the actual problems. Damn... can anyone help or give pointers to some useful resources?
