There seems to be an ugly mood within the USA today, directed toward the government and other non-stereotypical groups like gays, illegal immigrants, and non-Angelo Saxons. I sensed this mood during George W. Bush's Presidency, and have since watched it grow in size and intensity.
I hope the USA is not moving towards fascism, which usually involves a re-engineering of society into a supposedly superior race, all in the name of national patriotism.
