Besides the LostFocus that the others suggested - I think you could use a Click instead of a SetFocus - as I ran into the Same problem recently - and I think that is how I resolved it...
I hadn't thought of the LostFocus... -K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael Savage Sent: Monday, June 01, 2009 10:53 AM I'm having a senior moment... How do I get around the error: Cannot call setfocus method, from valid, rangehigh, rangelow, etc... After I click on a button, I want to set focus to a control based on the value returned from the form from the button. I put the return code in the button's valid event... ie thisform.newcontrol.setfocus and the above error occurs... Definitely not nice :) TIA, Mike _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a1409df1...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
