I use Apache and IIS on my Windows XP development machine. I think the only issue I had was a conflict on ports with Skype, but that was easily rectified.
I used XAMPP but have been considering changing to WAMP just because I need to change versions of PHP and WAMP is supposed to make it easier to do that. Frank.
