It looks to me like President Obama will have to give the Republicans what they want. The Republicans pretty well have the Democrats checkmated on this one. However, if he allows the Bush tax cuts to expire, you and I will have to pay the price, but the Republican will score a political advantage in the 2012 elections. How do you feel about that? LOL I think most businesses have squeezed employment as low as they can, without completely shutting down. Its more important to let the middle class have the tax cuts, because they will use the additional income to consume more, (eg increasing demand), driving business to increase production, (eg supply), which in turn should increase the number of employees needed. That the way it's suppose to work, anyway.
