Good question. I was just talking with someone yesterday who had a client
upgrade to 64-bit. It was mentioned something had to be done for the apps
to run. I'm not sure about running VFP 9 itself. I would think the same
would apply - run it as a 32-bit application.

I'll see if I can get any details.

Subject: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and VFP 9

I've got a very tempting offer from Dell to buy one of their
state-of-the-art notebooks.

It comes with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

My question is: are there any issues I should be aware of with using VFP
9 with that version of Windows?

I would hate to have to go back to 32 bits when I can upgrade to 64 bits.

TIA
