I'm thinking about buying a security camera for the house; something like the following:
1) Essentially it would be a miniature camera with its own web server, ip network address, and wifi built in. 2) Could be accessed from any browser regardless of OS. 3) Uses modern video formats supported by most browser with good compression. Must be accessible from my iPhone's Safari browser over it ip address. 4) Supports panning right and left, tilting up and down, and zoom. 5) Has good fps, good resolution, and decent audio for the price. 6) Support motion or body heat detection would be nice. 7) Writes an archive video file to one of the computers. 8) Good for both indoor and outdoor use. Any ideas are welcome.
