Just give me ESPN and an internet connection and I be happy, but...
The wife and I are looking at various options to a) save a buck or two and b) scale down stuff in our lives... might not apply to this but... We currently have Comcast for calbe TV and net connectivity. For the TV part we don't have anything fancy, just a slightly better than Basic package in order to get channels like ESPN and some of that On Demand crud... The net connection attaches to my wireless capable router, to which we have a desktop hardwired to it and my tablet and daughter's iPhone using the wireless. Was thinking of dumping the net part of Comcast and going with ClearWire. Our at home bandwidth needs are minimal - typical web browsing, email, not much downloading (that's what the T1 at work is for <g>)... Exploring options... looks like ClearWire works in our area, there are various Dish packages available. I'm not much of a TV watcher - just want my ESPN and occasional Food Channel or whatever.... Does ClearWire work well? What do you folks like for access to these services?
