I know you've got this sorted, but I just remembered this technique 
which may help someone in the future.

If you can suspend your program and get access to a command window 
(either by running in the IDE or using a command window simulation 
program) then you can run a command like:

SELECT * FROM MyVcx.vcx INTO TABLE c:\Temp\MyVcx.vcx

and that should get you the class back.

Note that I have never actually tried this but have heard of its 
successful use
