One of my barbecue team mates who left Fed Ex for Krogers was doing a similar thing with free hand held devices. You shot the barcode of an item and while at the store it would remind you via a list by isle of what you needed. It did a lot of other stuff like identify repeat purchases you make and would remind you when things were in their replacement cycle for you. We had a discussion on how to cycle MILK reminders. They were never funded but I bet the iStore and Android versions will be out this year. The early version was just as this was described, GPS centric. Each store layout was known so you could see where you had to go in a store you didn't frequent. -- Stephen Russell Unified Health Services 60 Germantown Court Suite 220 Cordova, TN 38018 Telephone: 888.510.2667 901.246-0159 cell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
