Are you sure it isn't the file name?    Can you just make the images smaller?

Subject: VFP Paint and Large Image Files

Good Afternoon All:
Well, the NHL has done it again! Change this time for zero benefit!
The NHL takes images of players for scouting purposes. When the images were
around 10 mega pixels all was great with VFP Paint to rotate them and scale
them back to a smaller file size for storage in a system I wrote in VFP 6.
Now they have changed the format to 14.1 mp  and the app I wrote in VFP 9,
which is based on Cesar Chalom's VFP Paint, now has errors with these very
large image files.
I get error: 'String Too Long To Fit' in procedure 'SetPictureValFromBitmap'
I can't find this procedure in his source code to increase, perhaps, the
default image area allowing these large files to fit.
I was wondering if anyone one else uses this wonderful app with large image
files.
Thanks for any help.
Best regards,

Jack Skelley
