Are you sure about libmesa2? As far as I can tell, there's no package with
that name in Progeny (or Debian, for that matter). It really should be as
simple as apt-get installing libglide3 and making sure that the AGP and
DRM modules are loaded by the kernel and the DRI module loaded by the X
server (which I /think/ is the default setup, but my Progeny box only has
a fairly old Matrox in it...)

Would it be possible to have libglide3 installed by default? It's fairly
small, and it'd certainly make things easier for people with 2D capable
Voodoo cards who want to use 3D. Alternatively, is it possible to install
specific extra packages based on the probed hardware?
