Hi folks.
I've recently tried to install both RC1 and 1.0 on a HP6611 (celeron with
i810 audio and video) with USB MS Intellimouse and an internal Zip drive. My
problem is as follows.. the instal proceeds perfectly until following the
reboot when the graphical installer is started from then on I get no
response on my keyboard.. even the num lock keys etc won't work.. I've tried
a couple of keyboards and no luck.. they were the Ps/2 kb that came with the
HP and an Ps/2 MS Internet Keyabord..
Looking back through the list since I've been on it it appears to be EXACTLY
the same issue as Chad Foremam posted about on 12/04/01 but he doesn't
appear to have gotten any replies to his problem on list... I'm just
wondering if there is an issue here and if so how do I get around it.. I
was able to finish the install but it means no typing was done during it. so
no root password etc.. When I start the machine up again and it gets to the
graphical logon screen there's no keyboard again..
Any help would be appreciated..
