I do not see what i.6 has to do with this.

Here's an expression that builds the array you specified:

   0 2 |: i. 3 2 3
 0  1  2
 6  7  8
12 13 14

 3  4  5
 9 10 11
15 16 17

Hypothetically speaking, these are indices, but they are indices into
a list with 18 elements, and i.6 does not have that many.

So I am confused...
