I hang out in the #learnprogramming IRC channel on freenode, and we
have a j eval bot in there.

I tend to use it quite a bit when explaining things to people (or just
for entertainment) and I've noticed
J tends to intrigue, but also confuse and intimidate our 'students'. I
wanted to make something that
would look more familiar to them, but that would still be J.

Also, I just wanted to learn more about writing conjunctions. :)
