Double clicking on jqt.cmd works fine too I'm sure others have figured this out, but this is how I would explain it:
Simple instructions: 1. Extract the zip 2. Go to the folder it was extracted to 3. Go to then bin folder 4. Double click on jconsole.exe 5. Type install 'qtide' or install 'all' for everything 6. Close the jconsole window when you see the "exit and restart J" 7. Go back to the folder it was extracted to in step #1 8. Double click on jqt.cmd Some people may want to be selective in what they install, but I find installing everything makes things easier down the road.
