If you're using emacs and not the Qt frontend, there's no (appreciable) difference between J8, J7, and J6.
Though they have different version numbers, the only significant difference between them is the default development environment, which is irrelevant to you. In other words, keep using J7+Emacs; you're not missing out on anything in J8. -Dan Please excuse typos; sent from a phone. > On Jul 9, 2014, at 6:33 AM, Devon McCormick <[email protected]> wrote: > > Is this something to do with the Qt implementation under Windows? > > It's very frustrating for me as it means I have to choose between J8 and > emacs - and, for now, emacs wins. > > >> On Wed, Jul 9, 2014 at 6:20 AM, bill lam <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> I suspect this cannot be done. >>> On Jul 9, 2014 6:12 PM, "Devon McCormick" <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >>> Is there any way to run Qt-related things under the jconsole?
