I use jqt  regularly on Android. The not being able to select and copy the
Android way is a major pain, but it's a long standing problem upstream (in
QT itself actually). Aside of that, it's working very well (using line
recall is extremely helpful).

Another trick you can use is using an external editor, and either load
scripts or copy from them (menu>Edit>paste menu does work).

Also, changing keyboard can up your throughput: Some one here on the forum
gave the great hint of trying out the MessagEase keyboard, which makes all
letters, symbols and numbers available for one tap or swipe... Extremely
handy!
