There's probably very good utilities for this, but these are some simple
alternatives to that might be useful.
text=: 'God in Heaven, who makes near what is far, knows that we know what
our power is.'
i0=: a. i. text
i1=: i0 e. 97+i.26
(i0-32*i1){a.
i0=: a. i. text
i1=: (i0 >: 97) *. (i0 <: 97+26)
(i0-32*i1){a.
i0=: a. i. text
a. {~ i0 - 32 * (i0 >: 97) *. (i0 <: 97+26)
c1=: (]-32* (97+i.26) e.~ ])
convert=: a. {~ c1@ (a. i. ]) f.
But these only convert from lower to upper, and only work on text, not
boxed text or files.
