I also found there's a 'stick' plot:
pd 'reset'
pd 'type line'
pd (i.10); 5+*:i.10
pd 'type stick'
pd 'color red'
pd 90 (7}) 10$0
pd'show'

Perhaps a bit clumsy ...

pd 5 5;0 100

... but if you wrap it in a verb, nobody will notice

Subject: [Jprogramming] Add vertical line to plot
I have a plot of a histogram, i.e.
plot bins; counts
to which I'd like to add a vertical line denoting the mean. I saw a
post on how to
create grid lines using complex numbers, but I don't know how to add a
vertical line
to an existing plot of data. Does anyone know how?
Thanks!
Ryan
