Devon, my previous reply also brought to mind a very good example you request below …
In kdb+ the “table” datatype is built atop the “dictionary” data type… a table may be perceived as a list of dictionaries (Key value pairs) that are Columns/Values. I’ll send you a paper offline that shows this.
