Oh... I do not think I would go there (unless we consider dictionary
dimensions to be infinite sparse dimensions).

That said, mostly I think we need to be careful to spell out what we
mean, because there's so many possibilities.

(From my perspective, having an ordered list of symbols (supplied by
the programmer) would be a viable way of specifying a dictionary
dimension. But if we wanted dictionaries to be more like symbol
tables, I suppose that having an alphabetical order for the symbols
(or symbol-like-entities) would be the way to go.)
