Am I the only one who has this "easy solution"? pd 'reset' pd <"1 y pd 'aspect ',":%~/(>./-<./)"1 y pd 'show'

It’s not to be expected to be the last time either unless an easy solution is provided. Taking the “white pixels” approach, there could be something like pd 'crop xmin xmax ymin ymax' NB. or 'borders' in place of 'crop'? for that purpose. I don’t say we need to have it, I only say this is expected to be a common use case not having a solution for which might drive off people toying around with pd. I don’t consider white pixels a solution but a workaround. Make sure you draw them first, your actual plot might draw there as well. And maybe you want to focus the view cutting off some of the x/y range. That 'crop' command – or 'ranges' or whatever you want to call it – could serve a broader purpose. So I think it’s still worth thinking and talking about. [I don’t know the available 'pd' commands too well please tell me if there already is a means of cutting off I’m not aware of any] Am 22.03.22 um 19:15 schrieb Devon McCormick: > Maybe I could partially implement my own wish for a fixed-frame that > could be applied to separate plots by plotting a fixed set of white > points in a square? -- ---------------------- mail written using NEO neo-layout.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
