Did that more than once. Didn't help. >[2] try jconsole? This does not solve my problem. I want to be able to work (as usual), meaning develop code effectively and efficiently, and I cannot do that in jconsole. Maybe if I'd spent as many years using jconsole as jwd I could, but I didn't, so I can't. My current work around is to edit J scripts in my text editor, then Alt+TAB to the J IJX and load them. This is still too slow to solve my problem, but at least allows me to limp along. I appreciate your and Stefano's responses though. -Dan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
