Correction, the version with adobe 7.0.8 was only able to display
the first page.  After that I got an "invalid type 3 font" message, and
garbage text.  This holds both for the copy I downloaded myself,
and the copy Neville Holmes emailed me.

I had an analogous problem trying to use gmail's "view as html"
option for pdf attachments (I got garbage text -- also, very very
small text).
