Given that I fashioned a reply in parallel to yours, duplication of
effort is to be expected.
I would use "healthy respect for" instead of "good terms with" (now,
_how_ did I type 7 instead of 1... NumPad?...)
The workings of qdoj was obvious enough. How one arrives at the left
argument is not so clear.
[The only out-joke I can think of offhand is George Michael.]
I do fail to see a rationale for restricting the domain of
should-be-niladic foreigns.

I agree: qdoj is not friendly, even though I intended it to be. Though I
recently thought of a better solution, which I will be
implementing in the coming months.
In any case, did you see this message?

Perserverence is a virtue, and I'm glad you got qdoj running. However, as I
noted:

See the cited message for the reasons.
With respect to your observation:

Again, I agree. As I said earlier:

and

Maybe I'll add a function to qdoj that ties it to the htmlhelp_j_ utility,
so it will launch your browser with the relevant
file loaded.
Now I have a question for you:
RM> c:\j\j607\system\extras\help\release\
Is the "607" a typo, or are you just on really good terms with Roger?
