I tried to find a good font for such long time that eventually I decided to make my own about two years ago. It's a 20x10 pixel bitmap font. This is not specific to J, I'm using this for everything. If you want to try it, you can download it from "http://www.math.bme.hu/~ambrus/pu/fecupboard20-c.pcf.gz"; (remove the -c if you need an iso-8859-2 encoded one). (I should put up a screenshot somewhere because I only have screenshots of an older version, but I've no idea what text to show.)
