The example at http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/JDB/ClientServer worked fine for J6.02 (32bit) on Windows XP and Vista as long as the client program and server program are both executed on the same machine.
Can this example execute on two machines, one being the client, the other the server? I glanced at the code, experimented a bit, but could not get the example to work in two machine client-server setup.
