Personally, there have been two things blocking me. One is my own laziness, of course; I don't want to spend effort when there are other ways to get what I want. But there's a more glorious reason that was blocking me before: my unwillingness to start using a language where everything I invest in it could be taken away by the single company that produced it. By open sourcing you've removed that second excuse from me.
