Hi Is there anybody here with contacts in the Royal Thai Survey Department? They claim they have a geoid model "TGM2017 geoid model" [1], but there is no vertical CRS in EPSG.org for Thailand. They say (at least, that is what some colleagues transmitted to me) that they do not find it necessary.
Could anybody explain why a vertical coordinate reference system is needed to properly use a geoid model? (it is also important without a geoid model. Vertical systems existed before having geoid models). Adding it to EPSG is free, easy, and more important, it helps the citizens living and working in that country. Thanks Javier.
