WRT "+/-", this is exact search for title equal in its entirety to
the quoted expression; hence nothing was found and closest suggestions
(i.e. titles starting with plus) were displayed.
WRT, "e(+)e(-)", ditto, but the returned 16,00 hits were for `e e`
search, see the warning displayed by the search engine. As we mused
about some time ago, the warning should be CSS-styled to be more
noticeable.
You just need to pass word expressions without quotes, like
`title:+/-` or `title:e(+)e(-)`, which will well find those words.
