Over in the inspire mailing lists, we had a small conversation the other week about using git to make managed systems deployment easier. Benoit was interested in hearing what we were talking about, so I wrote him some notes. During the course of the inspire-dev discussion, it became clear that I hadn't really explained what we were thinking very well, so I expanded and clarified the email I wrote for Benoit, and posted it to Invenio's Trac Wiki.
