Hi Tibor (and the list), in my middle-term goal of refactoring/re-implementing from scratch the oai_repository seeking for performance improvements, I was wondering: we currently have a whole bibtask dedicated to update MARC with updated OAI IDs and OAI set information. Is this needed at all?
OK, let's assume we would like at least to preserve the OAI ID in the MARC, just to be sure if the record is in any time changed of recid, the OAI ID is still preserved to guarantee uniqueness. Still, what if instead storing OAI Set in the MARC, we store them aside as something completely analogous to collections?
