in your current installation you're both using local and external accounts.
Did you have external accounts on Invenio 0.92.1, too?

Currently if a user is using an external account she can't modify her email
because the email address became THE identifier for the account.

However the administrator can still modify the email address via the WebAccess
administrator interface:
<http://.../admin/webaccess/webaccessadmin.py/manageaccounts?mtype=perform_modifyaccounts#4>

Alternatively the user might temporary switch his account to local, by logging
in via the same email address but chosing the local password, and the internal
login method, then change her email address, and then again loggin via the
external method via the external email.

Finally, another possible solution, if the user has not yet created e.g.
basket or alerts or other valuable resources on the system, the user might
directly login via the external account using the new email. In this case a
new account would be automatically created directly using the new email.

Best regards,
        Samuele
